The sleigh sits on a slim clear support that rises out of the illuminated base. From the front, and especially in the dark, the support reads as empty air and the sleigh looks like it is hanging above the glow.

To be clear about what this is: there is no magnetic levitation. Nothing hovers unsupported. The effect comes entirely from the transparent stand included in the box.

1. Put the base on a flat, stable surface and plug in the USB cable.
2. Slot the clear support into the base.
3. Set the sleigh onto the support and press the power button.
